During the fall of 2006, three businesses -- Reservoir Printing, Apex Press and Pendleton Printers -- were combined into one dynamic business:

This new entity "synergizes" the forces of three very successful businesses, bringing you a powerful combination of capabilities and technology bundled with smart, dedicated people.

History of our Companies

Pendleton Printers

In 1983, straight out of college, Doug Pendleton founded Pendleton Printers in Gardner, MA. He'd spent years working in the industry, and set his sights on growing his business by focusing on quality printing and strong customer relationships. Doug's commitment to integrity both with customers and employees served him well. Pendleton Printers grew into a multi-million dollar firm specializing in Creative Design, Offset Printing and Direct Mail Solutions.

Reservoir Printing

Reservoir Printing offers high-quality Printing, Variable Data, Direct Marketing and On-Demand Digital Reproduction services. Reservoir has been serving customers in greater Boston and beyond for nearly 20 years. Founder Ann Rosseel and her staff grew Reservoir Printing from humble beginnings to become a recognized leader in the industry. In the fall of 2006, Ann Rosseel sold her business to Doug Pendleton and assumed a part-time position as Ambassador, assisting with the transition to Synergy. Ann is now getting to enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends.

Apex Press

Many in the industry knew Apex as one of the finest commercial "quick" printers west of Boston. Originally located in Westborough, Apex specialized in very quick turnaround of both Full-Color Offset and Digital Printing. Head Coach Ray Gendreau took bold steps with Apex to ensure that their print quality was always at the peak (or apex!) of quality and timeliness. Ray is currently working as a consultant within the print industry and includes Synergy as a client, assuring a seamless transition of Apex's customers and employees.
